Women's Ministries Table Our table is set up in the Fellowship Hall before and after services. There you can find out about Women’s Ministries activities, donate plastic bottle caps and aluminum pull tabs. You can also pick up kits for knitting/crocheting various items for missions. The current Bible study book is for sale as well as cookbooks. Visit us to learn more. |
Gatherings, September through May, include a catered meal and a program to provide fellowship for all women of the church. You need not be a member of a circle in order to attend this get-together. For more information check the latest Valley Voice.

Horizon Bible Study/Circles Circles are small groups of women who typically meet in members’ homes each month (October through May) for the purpose of Bible study and fellowship. Circles are offered at a variety of times and locations. You may sign up for a time convenient for you at the Women’s Ministries Table on Sundays or contact the church office for more information. Stop by the Women's Ministries table on Sunday for details on any of the following programs.
Creative Hands Mission Projects are collected items, crocheted, knitted, sewn and assembled by the dedicated women who meet monthly. Various projects include items designated by the needs of local agencies and nursing homes as well as those requested by Mission Opportunities to help state, national, and international needs.
Mission Quilts of all sizes and designs are made by interested women to be distributed as needed to fill a variety of needs. Each year, numerous quilts are give to hospitals, halfway houses, nursing homes and other places. Anyone with quilting experience, or interested in learning more, is invited to come to the church on the first Monday of each month and join others in producing quilts that are donated to those in need. This is a fun time with sewing machines humming and happy women chatting. Come and join in the fun! |
