Patio Sale
Each year in March Valley Presbyterian holds a huge Patio Sale of “gently used” items donated from friends in the Green Valley area over the course of the previous year. In preparation for the annual sale, more than 200 people volunteer their time and energy to pick-up, sort, price, pack, store, unpack, display and sell items. Past patio sales have brought in $60,000 to over $90,000! The Mission Committee determines how to distribute these monies to the chosen recipients, and 100% of net proceeds are distributed outside of our walls! The sale is open to the community and region—in fact, people come from Tucson and Nogales to get a good deal. All members and friends of the Valley Church family are encouraged to participate in some way. How can you help? |

This is a year-long project, culminating in a 2 1/2 day sale where people come from all over the region to “get a good deal”!

How Can You Help?
- Donate an item (or items) for sale! Items should be in good condition—something that you would want to buy. Bring them by the church any time. Bring them to the church and a staff person can provide you with a receipt. For larger items feel free to call the church office (625-5023) and schedule a pick-up. We accept everything from jewelry to sectional sofas, cars and trucks!
- You can volunteer to be a worker by coming on a SORTING AND PRICING day - usually the 3rd Thursday morning of each month. Show up and see if this is something you want to do - we’ll train you!
- Come to the sale and purchase something you like - or purchase a lot of things!
