Patio Sale Mission Statement
The mission of the VPC Patio Sale is to provide financial support for Valley Presbyterian Church’s designated mission and outreach programs in Southern Arizona, Mexico and missionaries abroad with semi-annual Patio Sales.
The Valley Presbyterian Church Patio Sale is a year-round ministry that –
Past Patio Sale have brought in $60,000 to over $90,000! The Mission Committee determines the distribution of these monies to designated programs. One hundred percent of net proceeds are distributed outside the church walls! A list of recipients is listed on the Mission page.
Our semi-annual sales are the Annual Patio Sale held in March each year and the Holiday-Plus Sale held in early November. Our Patio Sale is a year-round project which includes picking-up, sorting, pricing and packing donations for storage. Over the course of the year, more than 200 volunteers are needed to handle donations and work at the two sales.

How Can You Help?

- Involves volunteers from VPC and the community at large.
- Provides a community-wide donation collection system which assists people who are downsizing or moving.
- Holds semi-annual sales to liquidate donated goods.
- Offers members and the community at large the opportunity to purchase donated items at bargain prices.
- Encourages fellowship among church and community members and sale participants.

How Can You Help?
- Donate items for the sale! Items should be gently used and in good condition – something you would want to buy. Bring them to the church during business hours and the office staff will give you a receipt. For larger items, please call the church office 520-625-5023 to schedule a pick-up.
- Volunteer to help at our monthly Pack & Sorts! We get together the second Thursday of the month at 8:00 am in Fellowship Hall. And, volunteer at our semi-annual sales. No previous experience needed – training provided.
- Support the Patio Sale with your purchases selected from the hundreds of items available at bargain prices.
