Glorify, Gather, Grow, Give, Go
Why should I be a member?
Some people ask: Is it possible to be a Christian and not go to church? The answer is: we don’t go to the church, we ARE the church.
The church is people who need each other, who represent Jesus on earth, who have God in their midst, and are beloved by Christ. This is why the church is such an exciting place to be.
Can anyone join?
Yes! You do not need to be a Presbyterian, or even a member of another faith before you decide to join our church. All that is needed is a hunger to learn more about being a follower of Jesus, and to sincerely believe that Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior.
What’s the next step?
The New Member class is designed to answer your questions and take you through the steps toward membership. You will explore what it means to be a member of the church. You will learn how to spell Presbyterian(!) and what makes this denomination unique. You will discover all the different service opportunities this church has to offer. You will meet the pastors and leaders, and many others who give their time and talents to serve Christ through Valley Presbyterian.
To register or ask questions, contact Pastor Diane Christopher or call the church office at (520) 625-5023.
We welcome you!
