about the owls? A pair of great horned owls have nested at Valley Presbyterian for 19 years; they raise their young near a window so everyone can appreciate them! What about facility expansion? In 2001 an expansion of the facility was initiated. The purpose being to proved more room for the music department and choir, modify one of the classrooms into a "parlor" setting and build a chapel for certain small group activities. This addition was completed in 2002 and is known as the "Hawkins Spiritual Life Center". No further expansions are anticipated at this time. What is the best part about Valley? The people, the pastors, the service to community and world, the preaching, the teaching, the caring, and the challenge to be Christ’s people in this place.
